Serving for Heroes Charity Open

Update: Over $3,400 was raised for the Wound Warriors Charity from the Tournament and Fund Raising Efforts!
 
 
The Citi Open is a proud supporter of the inaugural Serving for Heroes Charity Open. Serving for Heroes Charity Open is a singles and doubles USTA-sanctioned tournament open to all USTA Members.

The Charity Party / Fundraiser will be held at June 15 (7-10pm) at Policy in DC!
Located at 1904 14th Street NW in Washington, DC - Policy will donate a portion of the proceeds from the event to the Wounded Warrior Project. Please bring your friends, and hope to see you there!

All proceeds from the tournament will go to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project-an organization committed to raising awareness and serving America's wounded service members.  

All players will receive tickets to Celebrating Our Heroes Day at the Citi Open
on Sunday, July 28 and will be recognized on court for their in the tournament.

Tennis-Bargains would like to posthumously honor and dedicate this event to MAJ Jaimie Leonard, who attended graduate school at Georgetown University and was a big supporter of Fisher House foundation and Wounded Warrior programs.

Jaimie Leonard bravely gave her life in Afghanistan earlier this past week, in her service to our country
