Buy Online Tickets instead of Waiting-In-Line at the Box Office
1) SAVE TIME - "there are no lines when you order on-line".
You can get a price check instantly on the exact seat you want. Updated daily. Prices posted by other actual ticket holders who want to sell great seats.
Compare sellers and buyers prices without having to wait long lines. The best seats, even sold out ones are listed for you here. Why would anyone buy them at full retail price anymore??
2) Promo codes (2 for 1 deals and exclusive seats)
If you get to the box office and tell them you see this promo code online and can you please match it, their answer will be, please go online to Ticketmaster.com as we do not accept online codes
3) Get great seat tickets with less money and frustration
It is MUCH easier to use the 2-for-1 promo codes that come out each year. In my opinion, think of it as "an extra free ticket" for a friend.
Plus you can always sell the extra one through the genuine TicketExchange dealer.
4) Sell any extra tickets later (only buy online electronic tickets at TicketExchange)
This way you can transfer to friends via email, or sell them directly without mailing anything.
Personally, I think this is much better than risk getting in trouble with scalpers or police circling around the subway stop each year. Have you ever have tried standing there trying to haggle with someone over a ticket price? Especially when you're just going to miss more of the match every minute?! Trust me, it is not worth the hassle and frustration to waste time*
If you really want to get your tickets today, here is what I recommend...
Get your Labor Day Weekend tickets in early July and sell the session you don't use.
Consider buying a US Open Mini-Plan Option (which costs $100 upfront deposit), then sell your extra unused tickets on TicketExchange. Usually you will come out about even.

Citi Open, an ATP World Tour 500 and WTA International Level Event (formerly the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington, DC) to be played Saturday, July 28 - Sunday, August 5.

Check out the opening weekend July 28-29 and watch many of the players on the practice courts surrounding the stadium. Tickets are usually as low as $10 which you can use to go to any outside courts (plus watch qualifying round action on center court).
This year it will be its first-ever combined Men's and Women's event so there will be plenty of photo-opts and autographs from the players. For Sunday, July 29, LivingSocial is also doing a deal to include a backstage tour of the facilities for $25.

Families (up to six persons with a minimum of one child under 18 years of age) will be admitted for FREE at this year’s National Parks Recreation Family Day! The USTA announced that registration for all 13 US Open National Playoffs Sectional Qualifying Tournaments will open on Thursday, March 15. Players age 14 and older can register for singles competition and/or mixed doubles to earn a wild card spot into the main draw.

To avoid the Ticketmaster fees, you may also want to consider simply purchasing your ticket at the venue. There are still a lot of tickets left for the DC event.
Just as a note, each of these matches will each be 1-set long. There are two semi-finals and one final match. These are basically exhibition match quality, where the players will talk and interact with the fans (similar to the WTT atmosphere). There are also VIP pre-game events that include a 1-hour clinic and dinner with the stars.

Legg Mason Ticket Plans on sale until 7/21 - $165 "Stimulus Plan" for all 11 sessions!
See all 11 sessions, from qualifying to the trophy presentation, for just $15 a session. This is a $245 savings over the entire week! These seats are located in the second tier in Sections 7, 7A & 8 overlooking the south end baseline. There are only a limited number of these seats available so act now!

TennisBargains Tip:
With these plans, you can sell tickets online you cannot use via Ticket Exchange and get credit for next year. I did this last year (sold about 6 tickets) and it paid for this year's season plan for me!! Also you can "gift" or email online those sessions you cannot attend and they can just print it out to use at the stadium. Worked really well when I tried it from my experience last year.Sunday 8/1 is family day so you can get a Family 4 pack for $20 that comes with food and programs too! As for parking, I recommend taking the free Shuttle buses from the Grove Lot nearby. Here's travel and parking info. If you go the first weekend 7/31-8/1, they have lots of great players practicing you can watch up close.
